Burns & McDonnell is on the move. Our latest stop? Oklahoma City, the home of the company’s newest office.
The office doors officially opened with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, April 5. Our newly renovated space is on the eighth floor of the Robinson Renaissance building at 119 N. Robinson, Suite 800. Cushman & Wakefield of Oklahoma’s Barry W. Murphy was instrumental in helping us find our Oklahoma City home.
Our new digs will accommodate up to 15 employees, allowing us an opportunity to expand our staff with local talent. The office is currently home to four employees, including Josh Evans, PE, general manager.
“After a decade of successfully completing engineering and construction management projects for our clients in Oklahoma, we’re excited to take a step that will mean even more responsive service for our clients,” Evans said in a release. “This move means adding local jobs and contributing to the Oklahoma City economy in a number of meaningful ways.”
The new Oklahoma City office will focus on a number of specialties, including facilities engineering and construction management; electrical transmission and distribution; oil and gas; process and industrial; and environmental projects. The new location joins Burns & McDonnell's growing list of offices in places including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New England, New York, Phoenix, Seattle and St. Louis.
